Child Safety Standards
Last updated: October 5, 2026 · Duck or Beef™ ("the Service") is operated by Cultural Intelligence Agency LLC.
What these standards cover
This page sets out our published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), as required by the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy and by our own Terms of Service. They apply to every part of the Service: the apps, app.duckorbeef.com, receipts, crews, and anything a player posts or sends.
Prohibited content and conduct
We prohibit, without exception:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind — real, drawn, generated, or implied — including in portraits, display names, handles, crew names, taunts, notes, or shared receipts.
- Sexualizing, grooming, soliciting, extorting, or threatening a minor, or attempting to make contact with one through the Service.
- Sharing, requesting, or linking to such material anywhere, or using the Service to arrange it elsewhere.
- Anyone under 18 holding an account.
Any of these ends the account immediately and permanently, and we preserve what we have and report it as described below.
An adults-only service
Duck or Beef is for players 18 and older. Every account gives a date of birth at sign-up and the Service refuses anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from, or allow accounts for, anyone under 18; if we learn that an account belongs to a minor we delete it. If you believe a player is under 18, report them.
How the product limits risk
- No chat. Players cannot send each other free-form messages. Taunts are chosen from a fixed, written-by-us set.
- Photos are checked. A photo used to make a portrait is screened by an automated safety check before anything is drawn, is never stored, and the finished portrait is checked again. Crew names are screened the same way.
- Block and report everywhere. Every player menu carries Block and Report. Reporting a player also blocks them for you.
- Accounts can be removed. We can suspend or delete any account and remove any content at any time.
How to report
In the app: open the player’s menu (the ••• button on their card, rivalry, crew, or feed entry) → Report → choose a reason and tell us what you saw. For a child-safety concern choose Other and say so in the note. The report goes to a person, and the player is blocked for you straight away.
By email: [email protected] with the subject line "Child safety". You do not need an account to report. Include the handle, what you saw, and where.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
What we do with a report
- Review promptly. A person reviews every child-safety report; these are handled before anything else.
- Remove and terminate. Confirmed CSAE content is removed and the account is terminated permanently. Where the law allows, we also act on credible reports before a full review is complete.
- Preserve and report. We preserve the relevant account data and content as the law requires, report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States, and report to and cooperate with the relevant regional and national authorities and law enforcement.
- Comply. We comply with applicable child safety laws, including United States federal reporting obligations and the laws of the places where the Service is offered.
